My response to Greta's speech on climate change to the UN

Right Livelihood Award 2019 lauds 'practical visionaries'
This a copy of my full speech on the latest recipient of the 'Right Livelihood Award', Greta Thunberg. The video will be uploaded to the website shorlly.
'My name is Heidi
I am the proprietor of a small business in Australia and;
I am offended by Greta’s speech about climate change to the UN. I don’t need to listen to a privileged young lady whose dreams have been ruined because she was removed from school to make a speech. I don’t need to hear the words ‘how dare you‘ from anyone who thinks their future hopes are ruined because of worldwide inertia.
Greta will now have to overcome the rights she has been given to speak those words amongst world leaders. This young lady is ruined. We don’t speak like that as adults and her award is a social injustice.
What crystal clear science is she proclaiming to know about: nothing is clear about climate change.
We manufacture out of need, even desperation at times, because if we don’t provide for the community they will not have enough.
This young lady who has somehow gained the respect of the masses by doing a public tantrum over climate change is not in touch with reality. Nor should she be awarded or encourage to make such empassioned speeches.
A lot of the world is in an impoverished undereducated state of living where privilege doesn’t exist. Her's is a pretty little speech for millionaires and moguls who have choices.
As a business owner I can only retail and consume what is already available in the wholesale market. I am in total control of my of consumption everyday as an end user and consumer
The underlying problem is in the distribution of consumer items and goods. I don’t think we can reduce emissions enough until we organise distribution better.
Greta’s speech hasn’t offered any solutions to worldwide issues at all. She has simply been permitted as a young adult to rant about a subject which requires far more detailed attention.
That young lady has to grow into an adult without the habit of arguing in such an abusive manner and I think she should be told to speak more eloquently in the future.'
Conclusion
Greta Thunberg's speech to the UN was very youthful and ineloquent and I hope to see her make more indepth speeches in the future with more developed ideas which bring just as much attention.
